About Ivan

I've spent years designing things people interact with — just not always on a screen.

My background is in Industrial and Graphic Design, where human-centered thinking wasn't a methodology — it was the foundation of everything. You don't design a physical product without deeply understanding the person using it. Now I'm bringing that same thinking to digital products.

I'm originally from Colombia. Three years in Australia, five in Canada, and countless trips in between — living abroad and meeting people from completely different walks of life has made me genuinely empathetic in a way that directly shapes how I design. I don't just think about the average user. I think about everyone who might interact with something, because I've been the outsider trying to figure out how things work in a place that wasn't built for me.

Outside of work I'm usually on a tennis court, hunting down good food somewhere new, or planning the next adventure. I'm easygoing, direct, and at my best when collaborating with people who genuinely care about what they build.
